Yes. Our lenses are certified UV400, which means they provide nearly 100% protection from harmful ultraviolet light rays, blocking wavelengths up to 400 nanometers, including UVA and UVB rays. On top of that, we’ve added an extra anti-reflection coating to all of our sunglasses.

Most people are aware of the harm that UV rays can cause to their skin, but your eyes are ten times more sensitive to UV rays than your skin.

All of our glasses have also passed the set standards for UV protected lens in America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

ZEISS lenses are considered the top available lenses on the market. At Ollu, we decided to collaborate with Zeiss to use their state-of-the-art recycled nylon lenses.

All our frames (sun & optical) can be made into perscription lenses at your local Optometrist.

Our Optical frames come with a bio-based dummy lenses which can easily be switched out for prescription lenses at your nearest optometrist.

We offer a 1 year warranty on all frames purchased. The warranty is for manufacturing faults, it does not cover lost, theft, intentional damage, normal wear and tear or scratches.

We offer worldwide shipping.

Shipping and returns are free in Israel, USA and Hong Kong.
Taxes and duties are included when purchasing in Israel, USA and Hong Kong.

All other countries there is a $15 flat rate shipping fee. Orders over $249 have free international shipping.

We offer free returns within 30 days for orders placed in the USA, Israel and Hong Kong. Please email hello@ollu-shop.com for instructions. Frames must be unworn and shipped back with original packaging.

The item must be received by Ollu within 30 days from delivery for full refund of the item. International shipping fees are not refundable. The customer is responsible for arranging the return shipping with their own shipping carrier.

Properly storing your frames is the best way to ensure they last for years and years to come.

To avoid scratches make sure you always store them in the hard case or pouch. Always store your sunnies in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing them in direct sunlight or heat, as it can distort the acetate. For the best care, we recommend purchasing our cleaning kit and regularly using the lens spray to clean your lenses.

Bio-Acetate is a totally natural, renewable, and 100% recyclable material made without using any of the harmful fossil fuels, oils, BPA or chemical plasticizers found in conventional acetate or plastic, replacing harmful Diethyl Phthalate—derived from petroleum—with an organic plant-
based alternative.

Made from responsibly-harvested wood pulp fibers with organic pigments and dyes, this eco-friendly Bio-Acetate is much better for our ecosystem and the environment.

Our bio-acetate is manufactured ethically in Italy (under the European Union's strict REACH chemical guidelines) by the prestigious Italian company Mazzucchelli 1849.

We look at our products' life cycle from start to finish. Whilst our bio-acetate frames are biodegradable, there still aren’t many facilities that are equipped to biodegrade them. Until this changes, we realize the more sustainable way to go is to donate the old frames. This is why we introduced our reCycle program. When you get to the stage where you don’t wear your Ollu frames anymore, you can send them back to us to go into our reCycle program.

The high quality of our frames means that with just a little refurbishing, we can repurpose them, making them look like new. This allows us to donate them and avoid landfill waste.

All you need to do is send them back to us, our team will sort through the glasses, refurbish and fix any scratches or replace the lenses, then they’re ready for their next home.
